Why 'not worrying' isn’t the goal

How to stop focusing on what you don't want

Ever catch yourself saying things like:
“I’m just trying not to worry …”

Same. But guess what? That focus on ‘not worrying’ … is still pouring all of your energy on ‘worry’

It's one of the ways fear of success sneaks in and “keeps you safe” … “lets you” not change … lets you stay right where you are. 😒

🤍 Practice shifting toward what you do want instead.

Not just once, not just when it’s convenient … but consistently, like a muscle you’re building.

For example … if you find yourself thinking, “I just don’t want to feel anxious today,” pause and reframe:
What do you want to feel?

Maybe it’s grounded. Maybe it’s clear. Maybe it’s connected to your body.
So you gently guide your focus toward that.
Not in a fake-it-til-you-make-it kind of way … but in a “this is what I’m choosing to feed with my energy today” kind of way.

Because the version of you who feels peace, trust, and freedom … that’s not just out there in the distance.
That’s available in small, powerful ways 🤍 right now.

That’s the loop you’re actually intending on experiencing.
And every time you notice and redirect … you’re already in it.

And ✨  if you’re done running in circles with the same old patterns … and you’re ready to actually shift the habits that shape how you feel, think, move, and show up in your life …
That’s exactly the work I do with my clients.

Not surface-level. Not temporary.
We work through the core areas that actually change things long-term … food, exercise, sleep, and stress.
Because it’s all connected … and when one shifts, the rest follow.

🤍 What part of this hit home for you? Your reflections help me keep creating content that meets you where you are.

Feel free to share this blog (or the reel) with someone who needs this reminder too 🫶🏼
