What happens when you pause?

🤍 What happens when you’re being still?

 

By nature, I’m a do-er.

I am wired to somehow always be doing, doing, doing, going, going, going … honestly it’s pretty ridiculous. And sometimes useful, because I can literally get a billion things done at once, but it’s SO off balance😕

 

Once I started being aware of consciously being still every day even for just a little bit, it’s ... I can’t even describe it … it is life changing, & is honestly now a life long homework for me.

 

Instead of 24/7 spinning spinning spinning up in my head, and around & around being a *human doing*, I now have ways to shift back to center inside ... sometimes it’s when I’m already super wonky & imbalanced🙄, but better then than never haha

 

When I am still, even just for a few seconds, my extremely overactive mind quiets & I come back to center in my body … and in the center there is calm, and in the calm there is balance & perspective somehow?

 

It’s not to say that the load on my plate is any different, or that I will be any less productive, but everything is more clear & at ease & on purpose ... I’m actually aware that I’m doing things, I’m aware I’m alive😅, and I’m way less chaotic/judgemental/hectic/crazy/awful/spinning feeling 🤍

And can be the same for you!
