Bright Side
do you tend to see the bright side / bigger picture of situations that have happened?
for example … that line was insanely, unnecessarily long, and so hot with no AC, yet ultimately when I got through the line, it was pretty easy, and everything went really smoothly!
= lower internal stress level for the rest of the day
or do you tend to grab on and hold onto the mundane, super annoying stuff that happened during that situation? even when it’s in the past?
for example … that line was insanely, unnecessarily long, and so hot with no AC. why didn’t they do something to expedite it?? that took me 2 hours when it should’ve taken 20 minutes!?! that was completely mismanaged, those people are ___!!
… and then you continue to relay that awful situation to everyone you talk to, basically reliving it 10 more times that day.
= so pissed off, continual cortisol coursing through your body, and amped up stress for the rest of the day.
just some food for thought where do your tendencies lie?
